Tips to prevent a wet phone from getting damaged


Of course, nobody throws their cellphone into the water intentionally as it always happens accidentally.
There are number of ways to prevent a wet phone from becoming a dead phone, the most important ones are listed below:

  1. Get your phone out of water as soon as possible
  2. If the phone is connected to a charger, the first step is to remove the charger and take the pin out of the jack.
  3. Put your phone on a paper cloth or gather a tissue in a bulk quantity and put your phone upside down and take the battery, casing and the Sim as soon as possible.
  4. Take out all the other peripheral accessories that are inserted inside your phone
  5. Try to soak the external wetness on your phone by a soft absorbing cloth.
  6. After soaking use a vacuum cleaner to suck the remaining water inside your handset.

    Note:
    Never use a hair dryer as it will push the water to go inside the phone always use a vacuum sucking device
  7. After cleaning put your phone in a moisture absorbing substance e.g. rice for at least 12 hours.
  8. Try not to use your phone before a minimum time period of 24 hours.


Suggestion: To avoid all these efforts try to buy a waterproof casing.
